'I've been working with Chris for too long to quantify, but we started sometime before I moved systems in middle school. I am in grade 10 now, and he's helped me make astronomical progress in my learning. 

'Originally my parents hired him to fill in missing elementary knowledge and writing skills that my primary teachers miserably failed to teach me. Specifically spelling, penmanship and structured writing. Before this, we hired tutor after tutor, only for them to bring some store-bought phonics writing books and be gone within a matter of lessons, but Chris didn't do this. He promptly diagnosed the issues I was facing and helped me understand English from a more systematic standpoint, as this was exactly what I needed. 

'We worked on my handwriting, which was leagues behind others at the time, and studied other pieces of text to help construct my own. Soon enough, by grade 7 I went from missing knowledge to having a surplus. He helped me become competent with a number of concepts, such as lack of repetition, contextually appropriate tone and gave me methods for excelling in reading analysis, all of which made my writing not only adequate, but really stand out. 

'He is not only a fantastic teacher with a great sense of humour, but also an inspirational person to be around. I could not recommend anyone as much as him.'
